About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to craft innovative products that empower employers to elevate the voice of their employees and build outstanding workplace cultures. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help define Glassdoor’s strategy and roadmap in a growing product area, and partner with cross-functional teams to execute and iterate on this vision.
Compensation: $122,000 - $152,000

- Tier 1 encompasses the highest salary range for states where large metropolitan areas are located (ie: San Francisco, New York City, Washington DC, & etc)
- Tier 2 encompasses salary ranges 15% less than those in Tier 1 for states with mid-sized cities (ie: Chicago, Dallas, Portland, etc)
- Tier 3 encompasses salary ranges 20% less than those in Tier 1 for states with smaller
- cities (including our Ohio office, Nevada, etc)

What You'll Do:
Your job will be to deeply understand the customer and build products that are intuitive, accessible, and usable for our millions of users. You will lead and design the employer experience for complex projects with a broad scope and evolving objectives. You will contribute to the overall B2B product strategy through investigative research, concept generation, prototyping, and delivering high fidelity design concepts that inform development. You will ensure cohesive user experiences across Glassdoor platforms by actively participating in the evolution of Glassdoor's design system. You will work closely with:
- Product Management and Engineering colleagues to bring concepts to market
- Members of the Product Design team as a mentor and champion of the highest design standards
- UX and Market researchers to run experiments to test your designs
- Go-to-market team to understand employer needs and experiences with our products
What You’ll Bring
- 6 years of experience in product, interaction, and information design for responsive, desktop, and mobile experiences.
- A portfolio demonstrating seasoned experience in UX, visual design, and interaction design. B2B experience is a plus!
- The ability to take broad conceptual ideas and define them into a useful and valuable product experience.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Ability to use data and research to inform your design thinking and final solution.
- Proven ability to collaborate and to communicate ideas and design rationale.
- Expert knowledge of design tools including Figma and Sketch.
- Experience working with design systems.
- Experience working in an agile development process and or an iterative UX environment.
- Able to work independently on multiple projects with overlapping timelines.
- Outstanding organization and project management skills, with great attention to detail.
- BA/BS in HCI, Product Design, or related field is preferred.
