The Vice President, Business Operations is responsible for leading the Business Operations (BizOps) team at Glassdoor. BizOps at Glassdoor plays a critical role in setting and articulating company strategy, and driving results against our most important priorities across the business. You will lead a team of BizOps professionals aligned to all key business functions - product, marketing, GTM and G&A. With your strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, collaborative approach and commitment to results- you and your team will have a high degree of influence on the direction and overall success of Glassdoor.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the CEO, COO and executive team to set and refine our company strategy
- Manage our annual and quarterly company-wide strategic planning processes
- Lead goal setting and ensure ongoing visibility into key financial and non-financial KPIs
- Deliver insights that support data-driven decision making across the company
- Work with product, GTM, marketing and G&A teams to identify opportunities to accelerate progress against our strategy and drive ongoing operational improvements
- Directly support the execution of major cross-functional initiatives
- Lead and develop a high-performing BizOps team through multiple layers of management
What You’ll Bring
- 15 years of total work experience in strategy and operations
- Experience leading Business Operations or Strategy at an innovative, product-led tech company is preferred; experience in two-sided marketplace or community businesses is a plus
- Experience in strategy consulting and/or investment banking is also relevant
- Track record of thinking strategically and analytically to solve complex business problems
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills; relentlessly resourceful and able to unblock obstacles
- High EQ; able to form trust-based relationships across the organization (up / down / sideways) and influence with or without authority
- Strong communication skills; adept at simplifying complex issues and persuasively articulating concepts using data
- Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams is a must
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is a plus

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range*: $241,500-$301,900

*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
Annual Bonus Target**: 30%
**Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
