Position: Registered Nurse

Hours/Pay Period: 48 per 2-week pay period
Shift: Rotating (Day/Evening), 8-hour shifts
Weekend Rotation: Every other
Holidays: Rotating (we recognize 7 holidays)

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age and type of patient population served on assigned units. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standard of care. He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats patients, families and all members of the healthcare team with respect and consideration.
Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Minnesota.

Candidate must have current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.

Possess knowledge of growth and development; specifically, an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process. An understanding of the range of tx needed by patients of all ages in relation to growth and development processes to include neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Willing team player with ability to multitask. Can express a genuine care for others through verbal and non-verbal expressions.

Previous EMR experience helpful; Excellian knowledge a plus!

Schedule:
This position is scheduled 48 hours per two-week pay period working 8 shifts (Day/Evening) including every other weekend and would participate in the holiday rotation.
