Glenns Commercial Service, has an immediate opening for a full-time seasoned AP / AR Specialist who will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. Pay commiserate with experience.

Responsibilities: *
- Codes such items as invoices, credit card statements, etc., with correct codes and obtains approvals conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the accounting system.
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
- Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Compares invoices to purchase orders and/or subcontract agreements for accuracy.
- Update vendor records with changes or additions.
- Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Continuously improve payment processes.
- Performs billing related items for customer invoicing.
- Performs other duties as assigned and required to support Accounting Department and company overall.

Requirements: *
- Relevant work experience or 4 plus year of Accounts Payable and/or general accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent computer skills; skilled in use of Microsoft Excel with ability to create spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow up on pending issues.
