POSITION OVERVIEW
Global Atlantic is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst to support our Investment Guideline Compliance and Reinsurance Investment Operations team. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to join a group that is charged with the review, analysis, evaluation, and communication of investment compliance across a growing number of reinsurance relationships and to help onboard new investments, clients and Trust accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in establishing and structuring investment guidelines for prospective partnerships
- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring daily limit tracking, pre-trade scenario analysis, and proactive impact assessments to investor guidelines requirements and liquidity
- Lead intra-month analysis, forecasting, and remediation efforts to remain in compliance
- Build and maintain models to evaluate monthly roll forwards and produce formal external reporting packages
- Represent investment operations in reinsurance deal structuring and execution
- Work with Trustees and Custodians, prospective clients and internal stakeholders to set up Trust accounts and settle new assets
- Develop automated IT solutions and system-based capabilities as well as continuous process enhancements
- Preserving data quality of the investment portfolio by performing data checks, validation reports, and establishing controls
- Develop a deep understanding of Global Atlantic’s investment portfolio and operational profile
- Build relationships with internal functional groups, including investments, asset allocation, analytics, accounting, and investment operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related major. MBA or CFA a plus
- 3 years relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of fixed income investments, middle market debt and mortgages
- Clearwater, Bloomberg, and Tableau experience is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task multiple high priority responsibilities
- Ambition and desire to succeed by delivering quality and effective results
- Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues, or challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. VBA and Visio experience a plus

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. The annual base salary range provided in this posting for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. The base salary range for this role is $54,483 to $103,778.
