Primary Responsibilities:
The Midwest Regional Sales role is accountable to managing and developing profitable sales of our clients’ products in their region as well as supporting sales growth of the company. KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for success include relationship building with manufacturer, distributor and retailer personnel. Additional responsibilities to include periodic vendor and retailer reviews, reporting, industry show attendance and up to 25% travel and other duties required to drive company growth.
Essential Functions:
· Direct all Sales activities and efforts for Global client brands in the retail food industry within the Central sales region.
· Accountable for sales and point of distribution expansion as well as Global operating costs.
· Work closely with Global client partners and develop strong business relationships.
· Execute brand promotional plans and strategies at retail.
· Develop strong relationships with distributor Account Managers.
· Participate in industry selling events such as industry shows and sales meetings.
· Represent Global client brands in retailer category reviews.
· Identify business opportunities and report them to the team.
· Participate in client and retailer business reviews.
· Develop and execute sales presentations to retailers.
· Proficient in new client brand market launches.
· Adhere to corporate values and mission statement defining corporate vision.
· Develop and utilize appropriate analytical reports.
· Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
