Data Center Engineer - VDI

• Designs, delivers, and optimizes VDI Services to improve security, availability, performance, and resource utilization;
• Reviews current VDI infrastructures, architectures, designs, and operations to identify potential improvements for optimizing system performance;
• Documents security, configuration, and performance benchmarks of VDI services.

• LEVEL III: Bachelor's degree in a related field, with five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience is required; OR Masters degree in a related field with three (3) to five (5) years’ experience years of experience; OR PhD with zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience;
• Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE) at start;
• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility at start;
• Proven experience with VMware Virtual Center (vCenter) providing virtual desktop machine environment is required;
• Professional-level VMware certifications are desired;
• ITIL v4 Foundations certification is desired.
