Qualifications
- Master's degree in biology or related disciplines; or a BS degree with 2 additional years of experience.
- Experience (academic or industry) in iPSC handling is required.
- Passion, knowledge, and experience in neuroscience or rare disease research.
- Strong analytic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate issues and synthesize complex information into key focus areas.
- Creative and curious mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven record of collaboration and networking across various functions, effectively working with internal and external partners.
- Good organizational skills, with attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of in vitro differentiation protocols and facilitate the production of iPSC-derived cell types, especially iPSC-derived neurons.
- Support the development of disease phenotype-specific molecular and functional assays in relevant cell types differentiated from human pluripotent stem cells.
- Collaborate with the team to carry out gene editing in iPSC-derived cells.
- Contribute to the day-to-day maintenance of cell culture of various types.
