Implementation Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to join our team, playing a pivotal role in the seamless integration of phone systems within our clients’ business environments. This position requires close coordination with both operations and IT teams to ensure a smooth installation process. The ideal candidate will take what has been sold to the client and work closely with our phone service provider to coordinate the porting of numbers and schedule port dates. The candidate would then develop project plans, gather information to customize phone systems to meet specific client workflows, and manage system integration.

Duties:

• Coordinate Implementation Projects: Manage the implementation of phone systems, ensuring alignment with client needs and project timelines.
• Client Collaboration: Work with clients to understand their specific requirements and customize phone system configurations accordingly.
• Provider Coordination: Liaise with our phone service provider to coordinate the porting of phone numbers and schedule port dates.
• Data Migration: Oversee the migration of phone numbers from old systems to the new platform, ensuring data integrity.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during and after the implementation process.
• Post-Implementation Review: Conduct evaluations after the implementation to gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience in phone system implementation, IT support, telecommunications, or a related role is an added benefit. On job training will also be provided if necessary.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with phone systems and telecommunication technologies is a plus, but not required.
• Understanding of VoIP, SIP, PBX systems, and other relevant technologies is a plus, but not required.

Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze client needs and customize phone system solutions accordingly.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills to manage project documentation and training materials.

Customer Service: Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and support.

Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, VoIP certifications) are a plus.
