The purpose of the IT Project Coordinator is to support IT projects, project managers, and project teams. This person will coordinate and document daily project activities and assist Project Managers and the IT Project Management Office Director in organizing and/or coordinating various project components for successful delivery of IT projects.
1. Performs project-related tasks, such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, attending project meetings, documenting meeting minutes, collecting and distributing action items from meetings, documenting project plans, maintaining issues/risks logs, managing change control/request logs, and other day-to-day tasks.
2. Effectively and accurately communicates relevant project information to project managers, the IT Project Management Office Director, and/or project sponsors.
3.Gathers data from different parties, ensures accuracy of the data, analyzes findings, and presents recommendations as applicable.
4. Prepares and issues reports within established procedures.
5. Assists project managers with tracking project budgets (estimate vs. actual).
6. Assists project managers in making travel arrangements for project staff.
7.Provides logistical support with project work sessions (reserving meeting rooms, securing projectors, laptops and placing catering requests). 8.
