We have partnered with an innovative biopharmaceutical company specializing in difficult-to-formulate biologics. The company is building a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in New Jersey after recently gaining two FDA approvals.
We require an experienced Electrician who has knowledge to trouble shoot electrical and control system for the building and equipment. Main support to cover Emergency calls. Should be capable to identify the correct parts and coordinate with vendor to carry out emergency and regular maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and support for all electrical related work.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on Pharmaceutical Process equipment and instruments.
- Minor modification of the equipment (change parts installation and qualification.)
- Knowledge in PLC and control system of the equipment is essential.
- Trouble shoot machine breakdown and minimize delays.
- Assist operating department in improving machine and process efficiency.
- Work as a team and follow company’s standard operating procedures.
- Support the engineering team for projects.
- Maintain Documentation as per company’s and cGMP requirement.
- Maintain inventory of electrical supplies.
- Interact with vendors for identification and procuring parts.
- Follow safety rules and regulations as per OSHA and other applicable agencies.
- Assist facility team in maintaining facility equipment.
- Assist validation team in performing facility and equipment validation.
- Performs other functions as required or assigned
- Complies with all company policies and standards
Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum High School graduate is required and/or diploma referred in electrical mechanical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharma Industry (cGMP Environment) in the area of process equipment and facility trouble shooting.
- Electrical license in New Jersey is preferred.
- Must have good instrumentation, mechanical, electrical knowhow /exposure.
- Should have good verbal communication abilities.
- Must have total commitment and willingness to work under time/work pressure.
