What you’ll do:

• Lead the EHS function for the construction, installation and operation of new filtration membrane production facility at Cardiff.
• Ensure the Cardiff Filtration site meets all Corporate, ISO 14001 requirements and local EHS regulations.
• Ensure all necessary environmental and safety permits are in place to support the new site operations. Ensure compliance with these permits and work pro-actively with relevant agencies/authorities.
• Develop and maintain site EHS management system (including process safety) to ensure zero injuries or uncontrolled releases to the environment.
• Build a culture of EHS excellence, team collaboration, DBS integration driving continuous improvement.

Who you are:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Engineering or science degree                                                
• 5 plus years of experience
• Proven experience in the management of EHS, preferably within a high risk chemical manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in Environmental Management & Permitting.
• Proven track record of teamwork, delivering change within projects, ability to work to targets and strict deadlines.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Translating strategy into action & operationalising EHS.
• Construction safety
