Annual Compensation: $90000 - $100000 DOE

The Senior Financial/Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing management reports and financial analysis as required. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting findings on various financial and operational data. This position will work closely Regional VP of Finance and Finance Managers.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Financial/Reporting Analyst will develop solid understanding of accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis and forecasting in addition to creativity
• Develops, prepares, analyzes, and distributes recurring reports based on required frequency.
• Interfaces with management to develop recommendations regarding business planning, operating forecasts, and financial plans.
• Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist VP of Finance in improving efficiency within the reporting process.
• The Senior Financial/Reporting Analyst will provide analysis of variance reports (actual versus budget).
• Research and reports on industry benchmarks and results to best practices and/or sister subsidiaries.
• As part of the month-end close process, prepares detailed analyses to identify trends in stats, revenue, costs, journal entries, and ensures accurate financial reporting.   
• Routine communication with leaders relating to financial close, budget, issues, and deliverables.
• Develops financial and statistical models.
• The Senior Financial/Reporting Analyst collaborate across company & subsidiaries related to close, forecast, budget

Skills:

• Thorough understanding of financial analysis and decision support systems, with knowledge of business statistics, quantitative methods, relational databases, business scorecards, data modeling, and performance and profitability analysis
• Extensive computer knowledge to include Excel (advanced formulas), Power Point, Microsoft BI, and Word.
• Detail oriented, with strong ability to effectively manage time.  Skills to effectively address complex, urgent issues as they arise. 

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 3-5 plus years of Level professional experience in both accounting and analysis Preferred experience in healthcare or emergency medical or aviation industries.
