Summary of This RoleThe Customer Insights team provides Global Payments' International Sales Regions and Software Vertical Markets with insights into their business performance utilizing Customer Experience (CX) strategies via survey campaigns driven by Medallia. The Customer Insights team takes that data and provides Sales and Operations feedback aimed at driving literal Client Success, supporting our company's goal to provide a best in class experience to our clients, and stay on the pulse of what our clients are facing due to macroeconomic forces in the economy versus how our pricing and products support them.
The Market Research Analyst acts as a storyteller for the data we receive from our customers. We combine data from multiple sources and need to be interpreted in a way that drives actionable insights for our stakeholders. Assist our other analysts in taking reports from both Medallia and Google sheets to guide and tell the story. Other systems we use that you could build reports, generate exports, or use in storytelling would be in Salesforce or other CRMs, call listening software (currently Verint), and analytic tools (such as TDT).
What Part Will You Play?Be responsible for data analysis and data sets related to all customer experience activities within the organization
Collect, analyze and create reports for key commercial business reviews and for tracking customer experience performance. This is done by using impactful dashboards and effective visualizations that provide actionable information to allow the business to draw conclusions and devise action
Assisting our other analysts in building reports for qualitative and quantitative research
Telling the story by using data for proactive outreach and process improvements
An organized, energetic, self starter who loves to run with an idea and add their own take while pursuing the team and company goal.
Intellectually curious - seeks out data that is the foundation of a storyline, and then are adept at building and telling that story
Appreciates telling the story for our customers through the data and analytics we have
Proficiency in querying, joining, and manipulating raw datasets for analysis
Experience with building reports and dashboards
Familiar with pulling exports from various CRM platforms
Comfortable with compiling data from multiple sources to drive actionable insights
Someone who loves utilizing technology to deliver results
Experience in business analytical writing or storytelling with data
Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel. Knowledge of data analytic formulas a plus
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, or in a STEM related degree preferred
Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel
Prefer this role to be based in Lindon Utah, but open to remote. May require travel - approximately 5% domestically at most
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data analytic formulas a plus
- Experience in business analytical writing or storytelling with data
- Training within CX or CX certifications
- Proficiency in querying, joining, and manipulating raw datasets for analysis
- Familiarity with Medallia or Qualtrics
The US base salary for this full-time position is Starting at $50,000 benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
