Responsibilities

  • Proficient to strong in SQL: Understands and can implement new queries and schemas incorporating joins, transactions, indexes, performance tuning, database normalization, understands ERDs, etc.
  • Strong in Java and Spring: Ability to wire-up a Spring-boot web service application from scratch: Spring boot, Spring Components, Maven, etc.
  • Can effectively program in JavaScript: incorporating functional programing, JSON, lambdas, dynamic binding, React-JS, etc.
  • Experience with NoSQL systems: Couchbase (preferred), MongoDB, Redis, etc. including
  • Proficient in DevOps and Testing frameworks.
  • Experience with RDBM systems: DB2, Postgres, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience with web services development
  • Unix experience helpful
  • Effective colleague: Independent leaner: curious, motivated, responsible.
