Summary:
Global Registration Services is a leader for registration and law label services. The mission of Global Registration Services, Inc. is simple: to create and offer proprietary services to the bedding & furniture industry (manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers, state departments, officials & inspectors) that will reduce and avoid unnecessary costs, add and increase efficiencies, save time and help create a compliant marketplace.
The purpose of the Compliance Assistant is to assist the Compliance Specialists within the various departments of Global Registration Services, including Monitored Services, New Registration, and Retail Compliance. An individual in this role will be responsible for data entry, document reviewing, and, in some cases, client communication. Additional tasks may be assigned by Management on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Scan and upload documents received by government agencies and clients
- Review documents received by clients for accuracy and confirm compliance
- Utilize custom database to manage client accounts
- Communicate with clients by email about GRS services and their accounts
- Maintain client accounts using custom database
- Ensure client compliance through meticulous system audits and attention to established procedures
- Complete miscellaneous tasks assigned by Management
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of customer service (e-mail and telephone)
- 2 years of data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Appreciation for customer satisfaction
- Self-motivated and able to identify areas of inefficiency
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in compliance or as an assistant
