Accountant

Duties

Including, but not limited to:

• Maintain Bookkeeping records and managing journal entries

• Accurate data processing – Creditors / Debtors

• Creation of Purchase Orders

• Bank reconciliations

• Tax reconciliation and submissions

• Age Analysis reconciliation

• Tax reconciliation and submissions

• Administrative tasks

• Credit Applications and vendor onboarding

• Any financial reports as requested by management, including full monthly / yearly closing as per management request

• Financial Audits as per management request

• Customer invoicing and follow up in recovery as per management request

• Cost controller / jobs

• Assisting with any accounting and financial related tasks

• Cash flow management

• Payroll processing and payroll tax submission

• QHSE audits

Skills

The following are the minimum skills required to perform the function:

•Fluent in English - Spanish is a Plus

•Advanced experience in MS Office programs.

•Knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS is a plus)

•Knowledge and experience in accounting

•Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

•Excellent organizational and leadership skills

•Familiarity with office management procedures

•Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (Sage is a plus)

•Perform accurate work to the highest standards of accountancy

•Able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision

•Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented

•Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills

•Position applicable for residents of Louisiana

Qualifications and Experience

•Degree, Diploma or related other financial qualification (CPA, FMVA), with 3 years Relevant working experience

OR

•Proven industry related proficiency based on 5 years of experience

Candidate must be US Citizen or legally authorized to work in USA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
