Position

We are seeking an Export & Import Supervisor / Senior Freight Forwarding Operator to help grow & develop mainly our expanding air and ocean exports but also assisting with import shipments. Position responsibilities include managing day to day export and import operations, competitive quoting & assisting team members with queries or help with current movements.

To succeed in this position you should be a self-motivated team player who enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds while multitasking, working independently and managing your own desk in "A to Z" type operations. We want to see experience in a similar export and import role as well as excellent communication skills as customer service is our top priority.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and supervise all activities related to export and import shipment operations.
• issuing Delivery Orders, Dock Receipts, Airway bills, Ocean Bills of Ladings, Insurance Certificates, Certificates of Origin, Shipper’s Export Declarations, AES filings.
• Ability to quote clients and agents for international Air & Ocean shipments.
• Supervise and monitor daily activities, providing continuous feedback and advice to direct reports and staff.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of freight forwarding experience

Minimum of 3 years export forwarding experience and 1 year import experience

Minimum of 3 years Cargowise experience

Other details

Office hours: 8am-5pm - Monday-Friday

On location work required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
