What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician position at GlobalEdge Technologies?
Seeking Engineering Technician for a full-time position for a 1st shift position to support testing group. Will train until person feels comfortable to perform the job on his or her own. Will provide all the tools required. Job consists of test set-up of Column and/or Intermediate shafts onto test stands, running the test, recording results, take pictures, compile detailed reports for engineering.
Occasional overtime as required.
Primary Skills Required
* Mechanical background preferred. * Must know Microsoft Word and Excel for report writing. * Familiar with use of general hand and air tools.

* LabView MTS Software - Flex Test
Education Required
* Prefer a 2 year associate degree with mechanical background
Work Experience Required
* 1-3 years automotive or mechanical experience preferred
