Job Description:

• Assisting with rehab of patients according to the care plan directed by physician
• Observe and record patient behavior
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Collect patient health history
• Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans
• Distribute medication via IV or oral administration under the supervision of RN
• Provide other treatments under the doctor's orders
• Clean and change wound dressings
• Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
• Direct and supervise nurse assistants and nurse aides

• Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Clear understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• Strong understanding of symptoms and signs for a number of medical conditions
• Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with medical challenges
• Must have physical strength and stamina

• Current LVN License
• BLS through the American Heart Association

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
