Technical Project Manager (GPU)

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead and manage technical projects, with a particular focus on initiatives involving AI and graphics processing units (GPUs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with GPU engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

● Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

● Integration: Collaborate with HW engineers and software developers to integrate technologies into projects, leveraging their capabilities for enhanced performance and efficiency.

● Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors. Communicate project status, technical updates, and potential impacts effectively to ensure alignment and collaboration.

● Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, leveraging your expertise in IT and project management methodologies. Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

● Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and performance requirements, conducting thorough testing and validation.

● Resource Management: Manage project resources effectively, including hardware, software tools, and personnel. Allocate resources based on project requirements and priorities, optimizing cost and efficiency.

● Risk Management: Identify potential risks and technical challenges associated with projects, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address issues as they arise. Proactively monitor project risks and take proactive measures to minimize impact.

● Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans. Prepare regular progress reports and status updates for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and upcoming tasks.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in project management is a plus.

● 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on delivering projects involving GPU.

● Strong understanding of project management methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools and software.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.

● Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

● Passion for technology and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments and trends in the field.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

● Basic knowledge of K8S.

● Experience with Nvidia GPU hardware architecture.

● Experience of managing HPC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
