Territory Manager

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Territory Manager (TM) dedicates their efforts toward the planning, support, execution, and ultimately, the success of multi-market sales and marketing programs. They collaborate on best program practices to uphold the standards of quality and compliance The TM, provides daily leadership to team members, and are responsible for the planning and performance of all programs they are assigned to.

The TM must maintain a continuously accurate quantitative and strategic snapshot of the conditions of the programs they are assigned to. The TM is accountable for the staffing and directing all personnel within their assigned markets/programs. The TM is ultimately responsible for the designated activities and support of program goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Team Leadership. You’ll act as the main contact for your assigned team members, overseeing and managing the team to ensure that your programs are running smoothly. On the daily, you’ll take charge of all market operations, assisting in interviewing, hiring and training for the team, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement through coaching, development, training and feedback.
• Strategic Thinking. You will be the strategic thought driver to develop, implement, and refine plans for market operations to ensure program objectives are being met. You’ll report on your program’s performance status, analyze markets and industry conditions, propose and implement suggestions for program improvements, and adjust your staff’s roles based on strengths and needs.
• Operational Expertise. Managing your market’s performance is one of your biggest responsibilities. You’ll work wither managers to assess and offer solutions on the fly, resolving issues quickly and professionally. In your market, you’ll provide oversight with the roll-outs of new programs or initiatives, as well as taking inventory, reporting timelines, workload and logistical deliverables.
