JOB SUMMARY
Gauss Management Research and Engineering (GMRE) is seeking an Schedular to support the 556 TES at Creech AFB.
This position is contingent on contract award.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Schedular will attend all applicable Creech AFB, Nellis AFB, NTTR, and 432 WG scheduling meetings. Attendance of these meetings will require additional local travel.
- The schedular shall be responsible for coordinating with appropriate maintenance and local scheduling shops for asset de-confliction, test mission needs, and handover times. Additionally, the contractor shall handle the coordination and scheduling of crews, support personnel, flights, test events, meetings, airspace, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certificates of Authorizations, range-space, frequencies, and resources as directed by the government.
- The schedular will aid test teams in coordinating non-local airspace when required.
- The scheduler position is responsible for producing the weekly schedule, to include aircraft, simulator, and meeting schedules using Microsoft Excel, Outlook or other-directed applications. The contractor will primarily interface with the 556 TES Commander, Director of Operations (DO), Assistant Directors of Operations (ADO), Test Team PMs, training, and standardization and evaluation to produce the weekly schedule.
- The schedular shall provide the DO with a draft flying/test schedule for the following week IAW the 556 TES Organizational Instruction (OI). Upon approval, the contractor shall electronically distribute and post hard copies of the final schedule IAW the 556 TES OI.
- The schedular will coordinate with the DO, ADOs, and any project managers to update the long-range test and exercise schedule, to include resource deconfliction. Updates should be made weekly at a minimum to ensure adequate planning and preparation timelines.
- The schedular will interface with exercise mission planning cells to ensure updated long and short-range scheduling changes are captured and communicated.
- The individual shall apply knowledge and experience from their subject matter area to assist in research and development of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), defining test requirements, developing test plans and procedures, drafting pre-test briefings, executing tests, documenting test results, analyzing test documentation, and informing final test reporting or training products on the MQ-9 or other RPA program and any related subsystems.
- The individual will be assigned to test teams by the 556 TES/CC or delegated representative.
- The individual shall apply knowledge and experience from their subject matter area to assist in the identification, formation, and coordination of requirements to support the acquisition, sustainment, and supportability of systems related to the MQ-9 or other RPA programs.
- The individual shall not make budgetary or policy decisions but shall provide financial management support for tests and evaluations. This support should include a rough order of 3 magnitude (ROM) for test execution, travel, and range costs by managing the development, integration, and maintenance of short and long-range financial/budgetary projections.
- The individual shall provide hardcopy or electronic media version of final/approved products to the Government when requested. Electronic media shall be compatible with Microsoft or Adobe formats. The contractor will prepare all documents in accordance with 53 WGI 99-101, the Test Team Handbook, and any other applicable guidance.
- The individual shall provide subject matter expertise in onsite and offsite meetings, provide product inputs, and assist in determining resources for test and squadron functions as required.
- The individual will provide these on an advisory basis, the final commitment of resources or acquisition decisions is inherently governmental and will remain so.
- The individual shall create a continuity folder containing job responsibilities, procedures, points of contact, templates, forms, and associated task documentation.
- The individual shall be responsible for safeguarding all Government property provided for contractor use.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years’ experience scheduling flying operations including using scheduling software, Nellis Test and Training websites, o-71, 297, 2407 schedule change procedures, and R4808 scheduling.
- 5 years Air Force flying operations or Air force maintenance experience, preferably with test experience.
- Proficiency with Outlook scheduling and Microsoft Excel and Project
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have Top Secret Security Clearance and be SAP eligible.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
- Position will travel up to 30% of the time out of state and overnight to fulfill contract requirements.
