Skilled Trades Recruiter
Reports to: Vice President, Talent Acquisition
Primary Responsibilities
As a Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will be a key member of our high-performing team, responsible for recruiting skilled trades professionals for various positions across Canada. In this role, you will need to demonstrate creativity in sourcing candidates through diverse channels. The ideal candidate will be proactive in seeking out top talent and implementing innovative strategies to attract skilled trades candidates.
Primary Duties
- Collaborating with leadership to evaluate current and future talent requirements for skilled trades positions across all businesses and departments
- Establishing and maintaining a robust talent pipeline to ensure the staffing needs of our dealerships are met across multiple locations in Canada
- Directly sourcing and headhunting passive talent to meet time-to-fill targets
- Composing and publishing compelling job postings to attract skilled trades candidates
- Conducting in-person and virtual interviews with candidates
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in skilled trades recruiting and headhunting, specifically Automotive Service Technicians
- Proven experience in sourcing candidates for skilled trades positions
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft engaging messaging to attract candidates
- Proficiency in utilizing LinkedIn and other social platforms to connect with passive candidates
- Experience in cold calling is an advantage
