Position Purpose
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for implementing company inventory policies and procedures while minimizing inventory/instrument investment and maintaining accurate records.
As the Inventory Specialist, you share responsibility for the fulfillment of orders and receiving shipments. Your work directly impacts our shipping and customer satisfaction goals. Your dedication and efficiency ensure we not only meet but exceed these goals.
This role involves both computer and warehouse work. You will perform various functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders.

Experience
- Minimum of 2 Years of Working in an Inventory Specialist Role
- Experience with Barcode Scanning System

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accepts, Verifies, Inspects, and Records All Deliveries
- Open Skids, Crates, and Other Containers
- Sort and Place Materials into Inventory According to Organizational Standards
- Prepare Orders by Pulling Materials, Packing Boxes, and Placing Orders in the Delivery Area According to Priority to Meet or Exceed Production Goals
- Maintains a Safe and Organized Work Environment by Keeping Shelves, Pallet Areas, and Work Stations Neat and Ready for Tours with Potential Clients.
- Maintain Certified Organic Logs
- Inventory Control/Record Integrity
- Visits Stock Points Routinely to Verify Assets and Address Concerns as Required.
- Research Variances and Determine the Root Cause
- Lead and Participate in Physical Inventory Counts
- Take Responsibility for On-Hand Inventory and the Physical and Systematic Locations
- Communicate with Ownership, Department Heads, and Sales Team About Incoming and Outgoing Orders
- Investigate and Resolve Customer Issues and Ensure Customer Satisfaction While Maintaining the Integrity of the Company
- Ensure Compliance with Legal Guidelines and Global Organic Distro Standards and Policies
- Follow all Company Safety Procedures, Policies, and SOPs
- Perform Other Duties and Ad Hoc Projects as Assigned
