As part of the Farm Hand Production Support team your role is very important as you will be in charge of making sure all the product goes to the next phase to get cleaned and ready for shipment. Some of the daily tasks you will handle in this job are but not limited to:
Role Summary
In shipping and receiving, you will be responsible for incoming and outgoing materials from our greenhouse and warehouse. You’ll have to keep a clear and updated inventory record. Additionally you will assist the production line by providing the necessary materails to complete orders. You will use a forklift regularly to move around different items, raw materials, and finished product. Ultimately, your goal is to maintain a continuous flow of inventory and a seemless progression within our operation and our incoming orders. Last but not leaste we at Go Green are all about teamwork so your responsability will be also to help all departments in any way possible.
Essential Responsibilities

Coordinating with office manager on logistics for incoming/outgoing orders

Inspect incoming product and outgoing product for damage/faults, quality and at correct quantities

Keep warehouse area clean and organized at all times

Labeling, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in an organized manner (FIFO policy)

Load and unload incoming and outgoing products

Perform scheduled inventory checks of all areas

Perform truck and trailer inspections for incoming and outgoing products

Performs pre-op inspection of forklift before day use

Stage materials for next production day accoridng to schedule

Check all production and outside areas for waste and remove throughout day

Close all gates and rolling doors at end of day

Experience in inventory management

Hours of work: Monday-Saturday, 8-9 hours per day
6:00am-2:30pm, may be longer if processing is delayed, overtime required if needed.
