POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the receipt and storage of all food items and equipment. Inventory and security is under the responsibility of this individual.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receives all food, supplies, and materials.
· Checks incoming merchandise against order sheets.
· Puts stock away in the proper locations and stored at proper temperatures with documentation.
· Maintains all storage areas and inventory in a neat and orderly fashion in HCC/Houses
· Matching item requisitioned from storage with those required for actual food production
· Maintains delivery and quantities records for establish par levels.
· Assist in weekly inventory

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training with
food storage or warehousing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
· Ability to write simple correspondences.
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other
employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
· Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and
distance.
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two-step instructions.
· Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Storeroom Attendant/ Food Issuing
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to grasp, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste, and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds into storage bins or shelves. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
