Job Summary
The worship leader is responsible for leading the church in engaging worship. The
worship leader will report to the senior pastor and deacon of worship. The team will

Responsibilities
- In coordination with the church leadership team, plan the music for weekly
- Build and oversee a team of musicians and vocalists
- Balance hymns and contemporary worship to meet the needs of
- Coordinate weekly worship practices
- Maintain schedule of musicians, singers, and songs in advance
- Lead the congregation each week in worship during the Sunday service
- Collaborate and assist with production technicians to facilitate a seamless
- Setup slides for lyrics
- A Spirit-led worship leader who is able to engage the congregation in the
- Use a variety of songs, instruments, media, and Scripture to create an
- Ability to be self-motivated and work without direct supervision
- Ability to lead volunteer teams
- Authentic and able to connect with a multi-generational audience by sharing
- Basic Computer skills and working knowledge of church worship software
- Piano or guitar proficiency is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, planning and organizational skills
