Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst

Objective:

The Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst will accurately execute and oversee processes related to supply chain product planning, shipment tracking statuses, freight bill payment process, Customs clearance, and fulfillment, along with monitoring and reporting of delivery route activity to support product availability that maximizes revenue generation.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential functions/duties:

· Collects, interprets, records, and analyzes various types of logistics data including demand, on-hand and incoming availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution

· Maintains database(s) of detailed logistics information

· Tracks product flow from origin to destination via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring product shipment, acting as needed to ensure timely delivery

· Reviews, analyzes, and reports transportation costs, parts procurement, delivery processes and inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics to management

· Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and / or control logistics operations and processes

· Completes the daily fulfillment processes in NetSuite including order release, label printing, providing tracking details and inventory submission

· Work with colleagues and management to ensure all fulfillment process issues are resolved and / or corrected in a timely manner

· Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory cycle count integrity / accuracy

· Communicates with the factories in China regarding shipment status

· Creates and provides the shipment labels and documentation with the factories in China prior to the shipment of product

· Works with the Customs Broker regarding Customs clearance and the payment of duties for Direct Import shipments to customers and Go Pet Club warehouses

· Ensure timely audit and payment of freight bills; dispute, document and track all billing discrepancies throughout the resolution process and escalate to management as needed

· Participates in quarterly business reviews with service providers and customers as needed

· Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs

· Review and update all documented supply chain and logistics procedures and job description(s) while ensuring adherence; maintain a review history revision control

· Leads the company’s Safety Committee to identify workplace hazards, and work to implement solutions that increase office and warehouse safety

· Works closely with management to initiate periodic RFI / RFQ for various logistics services

· Complete a weekly status report to provide an update of items completed, those that are pending, and if assistance is needed from management to ensure appropriate execution

· Know and comply with all company policies

· Cross-trains in other areas to provide back up support as needed

· Complete other duties as required

Qualifications:

Educational / Work Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred

· Previous demand planning and logistics experience required

Skills / Abilities:

· A thorough understanding of material transaction practices

· Previous NetSuite experience desired

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Exceptional organizational skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

· Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, IF function, Pivot Tables, etc.)

· Ability to demonstrate a team-oriented approach to workload

· Reliable (punctual and dependable)

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time

· Available to support a flexible on-site work schedule based on workload fluctuations

· Must be able to repetitively lift 25 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,744.00 - $90,035.00 per year
