SUMMARY:
The Lead Driver/Detailer works with team members in meeting fleet logistics. The Lead Driver/Detailer will work in conjunction with guest services in leading fleet logistics and working with fellow team members in maximizing fleet logistics. A Lead Driver/Detailer must be a highly motivated, experienced and detail oriented individual who is able to take charge of fleet and lead another Driver/Detailers by example. The Lead Driver/Detailer will be a right hand to our Lead Carciege/Carcierge team. As Lead Drivers must be familiar with daily operations, follow company requirements and safety standards. This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the fleet on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the fleet, shuttling fleet to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing, fleet transports to and from offices, hotels and FBO’s. The role also requires flexibility and adaptability; as Go Rentals grows, so will the requirements of the role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Lead Driver/Detailer you must be familiar with daily operations, follow company requirements and safety standards. This includes but not limited to:
- Ensuring safety of the vehicle is top priority
- Scheduled maintenance fleet service
- Attention to the condition (wear and tear) of the vehicle
- Fueling and timely logging in fuel records
- Showroom presentation
- Immediate communication with Lead Carcierge/Assistant Manager/Manager if vehicle requires management’s approval for repair
- Training and assisting other Driver/Detailers
- Regular (weekly) fleet inspection
- Maximize effectiveness of logistics
- Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
- Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destinations in a safe and courteous manner
- Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
- Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
- May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
- May be asked to clean vehicles as follows:
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
- Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by hand Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
- Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
- Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
- Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)
- May be responsible for maintaining and verifying fleet inventory for assigned locations
- May assist with local deliveries
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Essential:
- Ability to work in an airport environment with emissions and aircraft sounds.
- Ability to and proven track record of management of guest services effectively and successfully

- Ability to wash, detail, and drive vehicles as a primary duty
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License (as mandated by state and location) with good driving history is required
- Must meet residency requirements that allow working in the United States Proof of Auto Insurance/Insurability
- Must be a self-starter and proactive

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- 21 years of age or older
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License (as mandated by state and location) with good driving history is required

- High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and/or drive for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to work within an airport environment with smells and noise associated with jet craft
- Ability to work in weather and elements and with varying degrees
- Work between frequently alternating environments; inside and outside, sun light and office light
- Must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: sitting, standing, walking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, pushing and pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, typing, filing, seeing, reading and the ability to use a computer, telephone, calculator, copy machine and fax machine.
