As a Renewable Energy Sales Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind our mission, making the first contact with decision-makers, and guiding them through our innovative services and the life- changing benefits of going solar. You’ll book sales appointments for homeowners, paving the way for a sustainable future.

Role Overview:

  • Generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and door-to-door canvassing.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with potential customers to assess their energy needs and determine the best solar solutions for their homes or businesses.
  • Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Design and present customized solar proposals, showcasing the potential energy savings and return on investment.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize a customer relationship management (CRM) system to track leads, manage pipeline, and provide timely follow-ups.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives to better serve customers and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Attend trade shows, community events, and seminars to promote solar energy and generate awareness.

Compensation:

  • Commission Based Bonuses
  • Average earnings for renewable energy consultants fall between 53K - 132K/ year

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in sales, specifically within the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that foster trust and strong relationships with customers.
  • Motivated by targets, driven by results, and self-directed in achieving sales goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of solar energy systems, encompassing photovoltaic (PV) technology, energy storage, and grid integration.
  • Adept at working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management proficiencies to ensure efficient sales operations.
  • Proficient in navigating financial incentives, tax credits, and utility policies pertaining to solar energy, providing added value.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to undertake local travel for customer engagements.
