JOB SUMMARY:
Go4Healthcare is looking for a certified athletic trainer for the 2021-2022 school year in a high school in Palm Beach County, FL. The successful candidate will handle athletic training services, evaluation of injured athletes, rehabilitation of injured athletes, and running and managing their ATR.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- > *Applied Knowledge: Must have knowledge across a large range of medical problems. Assessment and evaluation skills and working with other healthcare professionals will be needed.
- > *Attention to Detail: Should be thorough with injury tracking and documentation. Maintain adequate medical records on all injuries and rehabilitation procedures.
- > *Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in high stress/pressure situations when speaking with patients, medical professionals, staff, and families.
- > *Establish a working relationship with designated team physician, community physicians, school nurses, athletic directors, and coaches.
- > *Establish daily hours of operation for the athletic training facility and maintain a clean and sterile environment for medical use. Develop comprehensive venue and condition specific emergency action plans that should be rehearsed annually.
- > *Complete facility specific training to include: Blood Borne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan, HIPAA, and comply with regulations therein
QUALIFICATIONS:
- > *BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
- > *License to practice as an athletic trainer in Florida
- > *Masters Degree preferred
- > *Current CPR/AED certification
