GOAL Family Medical P.C in Lynbrook, NY is looking for one medical assistant to join our team. This individual will have dual roles as a floater - front desk work and also medical assistant in the back when needed. We are located on 444 Merrick Road Suite LL3. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

    *Verify and maintain patient records *Check insurances, prior authorization and document handling *Answer phones and setting up appointments *Set up and sanitize exam rooms *Complete basic routine medical procedures (EKG, phlebotomy, urine dipsticks etc) *Provide consistent exceptional service


Qualifications

    *Experience working in a medical field *Familiarity working with medical equipment *High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills *Certifications and licenses that apply

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Mondays. Compensation is $17.00 - $18.00/hour.
