What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Supervisor position at Gobble?

Summary:
The Receiving Lead plays an essential role in coordinating incoming product and receiving product into the WMS, which helps us meet our customer deliverables. This role also guides other team members to accomplish daily goals while meeting speed and accuracy while operating pallet jacks, lift trucks, and any other equipment to move product.
Duties:
- Ability to be hands on and support team members
- Prepare bills of lading for shipments and ensure correct quantities against work orders.
- Operate sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, reach truck, order picker and RF unit during all receiving processes. (If necessary)
- Utilize RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities.
- Generate and process receiving paperwork using the company WMS system.
- Collaborate with Management on mentoring and directing team members
- On-going organization of shipping and receiving areas
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving
- High School or Equivalent
- Familiar with WMS and shipping online systems (Fed Ex, UPS, ect).
- Experience with G Suites
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Able to work weekends and holidays or “off-hours” when necessary to fulfill duties
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent assignments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to think out of the box to solve issues.
