Base Compensation Range: $65,000 - 75,000 annually

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and posts weekly jobs costs and bi-weekly payroll entries.
• Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and helps with general ledger accounting.
• Contributes to closing the monthly books on time and accurately.
• Produces important operational reports related to productivity.
• Provides support/backup for other functions in the department.
• Works with team members to provide analysis over general ledger accounts.
• Supports period-end close process.
• Assists with monthly tax filings.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This role has no direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated individual, ability to take ownership, and be accountable.
• Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

 
EDUCATION:

• BS degree in Accounting , Finance or related field required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.

Occasional travel. (Less than 25% of time.)  Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
