Assistant Teacher

ASSISTANT TEACHER - minimum CDA, or are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within 2 years of time of hire, or are enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate's Degree with coursework equivalent to Early Childhood Education AND experience working with young children.

All positions require a childcare background check. Submit letter of interest, resume, transcripts and 2 professional letters of reference to: Head Start Director, GOCAA Head Start, rpertile@gocaa.org

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.04 - $22.73 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Required)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Ironwood, MI (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Ironwood, MI: Relocate before starting work (Required)
