US Commercial Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity to work for a fast paced global media company and a highly agile Finance function. This New York based role will closely support the SVP Women's Lifestyle and Homes and their team in all aspects of their business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for revenue and costs (digital and print advertising revenue, cost of sales and sales team overheads) for the Women's Lifestyle and Homes vertical.

What you'll be doing…

You will become a trusted business partner, helping to drive better decision making, to deliver on key initiatives, and to challenge the business to create better outcomes towards the overall company goals. You will also:

* Assist in the production and gatekeeping of the weekly sales report that drives the weekly trading conversations around performance for the entire commercial business
* Provide insightful analysis and KPIs to drive and track operational sales performance
* Assist with quarterly goal setting and monthly commission calculations
* Guiding the SVP through their monthly financial results: Producing insightful commentary and reporting to ensure they understand performance and trends

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

* Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA
* Commercial industry experience, with an understanding of the media business
* Strong communication and people skills to build strong relationships across the business.
* Proven ability to present complex financial information to various stakeholders in a clear and easy to understand way.
