Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate activities for infants
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide individualized support when needed
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with babies, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson plans, materials, and student records
Please note that a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. Previous experience working in an infant room setting is also extremely beneficial .
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
