Teacher Primary Responsibilities
Our teachers are responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily class functions of a group of assigned children. Preschool Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe child care environment and work directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service. Teachers maintain attractive, well-kept classrooms, that encourage little learners to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence. Teachers support each child’s social and emotional development.

Desired Skills and Experience
· High school diploma required
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
· Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
· 1 year of previous preschool, childcare, or daycare experience preferred
· Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working in teams
· Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
· Works productively without supervision
· Shows empathy and compassion for young children
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively
· Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of child care programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
· Meet federal and state background check, fingerprinting, and child/sexual abuse clearances eligibility
