HR Generalist

Description

The Human Resources Generalist will provide support in all areas of the HR department, including HRIS administration, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.  

• Create an excellent employee experience by answering questions and providing useful and timely human resources information. 
• Provide support with new employee on-boarding and orientation.
• Maintain HR Communication tools. 
• Assist with benefits questions, administration and open enrollment . 
• Provide support and backup for payroll administration. 
• Assist with recruiting processes, including posting jobs and screening candidates. 
• Participate in employee Well-Being initiatives. 
• Coordinate activities for our DEI committee. 
• Respond to miscellaneous HR requests, such as Employment Verifications, Unemployment, and Worker's Compensation. 
• General support with other HR and Company projects. 

Requirements

• BS/BA in Business, Human Resources or related degree
• 2-3?years of experience in a generalist position 
• Ability to audit, reconcile, and balance a variety of HR data and perform analytics to present business data for decision making 
• Experience with Human Resources applications, Paylocity experience preferred 
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to maintain confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team; establish positive working relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication
