Results Statement:

The results of successfully performing this role include partnering with our various vendors to purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services used by the organization to support our installation and maintenance departments.

Tactical Work:

• Craft purchase orders by comparing items requested to the price book
• Partner with VMI vendors to identify available parts that are being purchased outside or the VMI process – Work with our VMI partners to have those items added to their stock
• Consult with your manager to ensure we have the appropriate PAR levels for items that are purchased
• Partner with accounts payable on any itemized purchase order exceptions
• Resolve purchase order supplies errors
• Assist the install manager with any special projects
• Point of Contact for IT Support at Location for network closet access and IT repairs
• IT Bridge between employee at location and IT Support
• Work with Support on New User Setup 
• Receive and Ship IT equipment as needed
• Order and distribute cell phones and tablets to employees onsite
• Enroll new devices in the Mobile Device Management system
• Maintain Mobile Device Spares Inventory at the branch
• Work with Shared Services SPOC on minimum device thresholds
• Ship and receive mobile devices sent for repair

Vital Factors:

• Ensure your department has the appropriate PAR levels for all materials purchased within your purview
• Eliminate zero-dollar purchase offers at your branch
• Ensure less than five percent or purchases for parts are outside of the VMI process

Position Specific:

• Work closely with the installation managers you support to ensure concise ordering of the products required by the organization
• Identify ways to improve the purchasing process
• Ensure your work area is properly cleaned at the end of each day and following each job
• Execute your work with a keen focus on attention to detail
• Represent yourself consistent with Goettl standards for punctuality, experience and appearance
• Provide an amazing experience for your internal customers on every job
• Ensure your work is performed to Goettl’s standard of picture-perfect
• Actively participate in ongoing training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills
• Strong decision-making and problem- solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Requires local travel as needed

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening (Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, Propoxyphene, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone) and comprehensive background check
• US work authorization
• Knowledgeable with small electronics (Phones and Tablets)
• Have a background in purchasing and/or warranty processes.
