Gold Coast Dental is looking for a full-time Back Office Supervisor with a ton of initiative and motivated to work in our busy, fast-paced office. If you have a "can do" attitude and good work ethic…we want to meet you! We offer all services - GP, ortho, implants, sedation, etc so your skill set will expand a lot working with us.
This role is a Senior Role- Back Office Manager. The responsibilities below relate to overseeing 11 offices. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in dentistry and supervising employees.
Management of Personnel: Hire, motivate, develop, and direct back office personnel. Identify the best people for the job, and working with HR to issue disciplinary action/Evaluations when necessary. Arranges schedules appropriately that fit the business’s needs.

- Maintaining back office scheduling
- Supervises back office staff, resolves any clinical-administrative problems, and develops measurable performance objectives for the teams
- Observe and evaluate workers' performance and appearance to ensure quality service and compliance with policies. Issue corrective coaching, oral and written, as appropriate to communicate practice standards and protect the practice from liability.
- Keep accurate personnel records in compliance with applicable law, and as needed to protect practice interests.
- On board new employees, relay the vision of the practice, and arrange on-the-job training for new hires. Ensuring new hires have appropriate access to Open Dental and tsheets. Processes performance evaluations for personnel.
- Accurately maintains and analyzes financial monthly budgeting for office/equipment supplies
- Acquire, distribute and store supplies, or supervise another to do so.
- Monitor the facilities to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Inspect work areas and operating equipment to ensure conformance to established standards in areas
- such as cleanliness and maintenance in line with OSHA
- Implement back office procedures as well as updating the Back Office manual
- Build and maintain relationships with DA program/schools and intern placement
- Assist as needed!
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an RDA
- Preferred 3-5 years of managerial experience as an RDA
