What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Specialist position at Gold Crown Valet Parking?
Gold Crown Valet, the premier valet service in Dallas, is looking for an experienced, full-time Administrative Assistant to join our office team! This is our 28th year of providing the crème de la crème in valet service. Our clients include local venues, exclusive high-rise condominiums, country clubs, charity groups, and private residences. We do not service any bars, restaurants, or clubs. The right individual to join our team will be professional, energetic, a proven multi-tasker, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with a weekly payroll.
- Helping with employees' direct deposit accounts and payroll transfers online
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Helping with scheduling valets
- Managing all EFT bill accounts, and cutting checks for all other bills
- Preparing sales contracts for clients and interacting with clients when booking events.
- Completing and returning any requested employment or wage verification paperwork to the appropriate agency
- Handling all vehicle and personal property claims.
- Processing yearly W-2 forms
- Managing inventory of office supplies and ordering as needed
- Phone support for the office
- Helping with scheduling valets
- Processing the paperwork from the New Hire Orientations
- Onboarding New Hires to the company
Required Skills:
- Previous office experience, with excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize tasks
- STRONG attention to detail
- Must be able to manage records and files
- Ability to solve problems for clients quickly and with professionalism
- Desire to work as part of a team, supporting other staff as needed
