Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Guest Room Attendant” for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Clean Guest rooms according to Hampton brand standards and management’s standards
• Check and maintain the physical condition of guest rooms
• Fill out work orders for general maintenance repairs as needed
• Report any damage or missing hotel items immediately
• Stock and restock assigned housekeeping cart daily
• Stripping and stocking linens
• Cleaning and organizing housekeeping/storage/laundry rooms
• Follow all OSHA regulations and Company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Properly use all cleaners and cleaning equipment
• Inspect rooms for consistency and cleanliness
• Assist house/ground attendant and laundry attendants if needed
• Deep cleaning
• Shampoo carpets
• Stay current with all Hampton brand training programs
• Comply with all Hampton brand standards

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• Basic reading and writing abilities
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
