Summary:
Goldbelt is seeking a Senior Training Manager to successfully implement Medical Readiness Training Command (MRTC) contractual requirements across three training sites. This position is a remote position with some travel expected to Fort Gordon, GA, Camp Parks, CA and Fort McCoy, WI. The position is focused on providing training oversight and support of individual and collective training events performed within RTS-MED at the Program Management Office level. The Senior Training Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all PWS requirements for training execution, including but not limited to, matrix management of training supervisors across three remote sites, advising superiors and subordinates in providing quality customized training to units and individuals, adhering to set training schedules and/or resolving technical problems, and meeting requirements of Medical Readiness Training Command (MRTC) Commander's vision.
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs audits of US Army Reserve medical training requirements in accordance with SRM to assist in Identifying RTS-MED training needs, approving or developing associated training schedules and prioritizing and evaluating training execution.
- Strategically analyzes metrics to understand training impact and critically design evaluations that measure effectiveness of US Army Reserve medical (individual and collective) training programs.
- Collaborates with the entire RTS-MED Team to support training objectives and meet customer training requirements.
- Leads and/or supports development of training solutions by working with subject area experts at each of the three training sites.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Track record of providing efficient, effective training execution
- Ability to identify and escalate contractual issues
- Expert communicator who promotes constant open and honest communication
- Knowledgeable of techniques to anticipate and resolve training inefficiencies
- Ability to build relationships with the Army client and customers
- The ability to operate at the senior level; influence, negotiate and close
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience providing presentations to large groups, comfortable conversing with very senior military personnel (i.e., General Officers)
- Proficient Microsoft Office user (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word a must)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, health administration, public health, project management or other related discipline
- Minimum ten (10) or more years of prior relevant experience
- Minimum ten (10) or more years of military experience as NCO or Officer (AMEDD/MEDCoE) or recent experience in similar program
- Experience in maintaining and executing training/complex project schedules
- Experience in providing accurate training reporting/tracking
- Previous experience in leading training services on assigned operational support Track record of efficient, effective training management and execution
- Must be US Citizen and pass a background investigation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
The pay range for this position is $74,700/yr to $96,600/yr.
