Production Control Manager

Golden Bolt, the fulfillment division of Golden Hippo, is currently looking for a Production Control Manager who will effectively manage order processing and printing personnel. Responsible for overseeing the daily accuracy, order processing and printing. Hands on approach, interacting daily as part of the team. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values. Actively supports the Company’s vision and goals. The Production Control Manager is also responsible for the direct supervision of supervisors and all employees in order processing and printing and is expected to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE

• Lead team in meeting daily, weekly, monthly goals, and providing guidance for the team to follow department and company procedures. 
• Set up daily, weekly, monthly goals for the department 
• Update printing logs and track errors 
• Reweaves order as needed 
• Consolidate orders to reduce shipping cost. 
• Process orders in a timely manner using a priority list. 
• Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships as requested.
• Responsible for reporting order processing management system issues. 
• Run reports and audit the order file, when additional coverage is needed.
• Continuous quality improvements to data collection methods
• Analyze processes for efficiency and streamlining purposes
• Hold individual and/or team meetings to address or update on topics. 
• Address misconduct, or handle/investigate as seen fit. 
• Train team members on processes and procedures. 
• Analyze processes for efficiency and streamlining purposes. 
• Support the management team and team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data. 
• Communicate respectfully and efficiently to team members, and management. 
• Have effective time management skills. 
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook. 
• Performs other duties as required.
   

BEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

• Experience working in a collaborative group environment as well as individually  
• Experience working with employment agencies (high volume) 
• Deadline driven and resourceful with ability to take direction 
• Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment 
• This is a full-time position. Standard 40-hour work week, however candidate must be able and willing to work extended hours for special events and when necessary 
• Consistent attendance and adhering to work schedule and attendance policy 
• Demonstrates professional attitude, ability to learn basic software programs, knowledge of import/export procedures 
• Communicate effectively in English and Spanish
• Standing, walking, lifting to 15lbs required and sitting frequently throughout the duration of shift, daily
