Accounting Analyst

Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant for an accounting analyst to join our strong Corporate Leadership team. This position would require onsite work out of Corporate Office located at 520 White Plains Rd., Tarrytown, NY. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, hard-working, reliable and willing to take on new tasks and challenges as the emerge. This position will report directly to the CFO.

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure prompt processing and recording of invoices and payments in Restaurant365. Ensure

vendor statements and AP Subledger reconcile and maintain contact with vendors.

• Work in tandem with store management and executive departments, as necessary.
• Regularly provide updates/progress reports to necessary parties
• Assist with opening and organizing mail.
• Assist with daily bank reconciliation of all bank accounts to ensure companies’ financial

obligations are met in an efficient and timely manner

• Analyze financial statements and make recommendations for expense reclassifications, if

necessary.

• Participate in the ongoing cleanup of prior years’ financial statements
• Review and accurately code American Express card activity
• Assist with coding of bank expenses
• R365 Inventory maintenance
• Weekly review of sales tax in Clover & Toast
• Vendor price assessment and negotiations
• Utilize Concur Expense system when fully implemented
• Any other duties assigned, duties also subject to change

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Finance or accounting related field.
• 1-5 years of working experience in accounts payable and general ledger

accounting.

• Ability to analyze financial data, solve problems and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel
• Must possess ability to accomplish diverse assignments, exhibit competency in

time management and organization, with strong interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in both verbal and written communication, which ensures information is

clearly passed to vendors, staff, and management.

• Ability to function effectively in a multi-tasking environment.

Salary range is $65,000 - $75,000/year

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
