Overview
JOB SUMMARY: Ensure proper operation of the DCM Robotic Patty Packing Machine.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Uphold the Company Creed and model the Company Values.
Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health and safety policies, food safety and quality standards, Division work rules, regular practices of the facility, and legal or regulatory compliance.
Utilize Single Sign-On (SSO) systems for self-service as required, including but not limited to the following:
iCims
UKG Pro
UKG Dimensions
Alchemy
Set up equipment for proper operation and/or follow end of day breakdown procedures and place the equipment in sanitation mode.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient operation.
Complete Clean/Inspect/Lubricate (CIL) procedures as assigned. Properly document CIL and centerline checks in RedZone.
Effectively communicate operational or technical issues related to the work. Identify defects and document them accurately and timely.
Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
Good communication skills (both written and oral), including but not limited to the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, to write simple correspondence, and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to calculate basic mathematical functions including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in order to perform machine checks and setup, and perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to participate in problem-solving activities.
Ability to interact with individuals of varying levels both internally and externally.
Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
Take initiative and is self-motivated; look for opportunities to improve operations and product quality.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment and/or clothing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Stand and/or walk eight (8) or more hours per day.
Frequently speak and/or listen throughout scheduled shift.
Frequently twist, turn, bend, climb, squat, reach and kneel.
Occasionally grip, grasp, use fine motor tasks with hands and/or fingers.
Frequently lift, carry, push and pull up to fifty (50) pounds over a distance of three (3) feet or more.
Occasionally lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds over a distance of fifteen (15) feet or more.
Specific vision requirements of this position include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
LEADERSHIP/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY:

ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS:
Constant work in damp, wet, humid and slippery environments.
Constant work near moving machinery.
Constant work in cold (frequently 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit, occasionally 10-35 degrees Fahrenheit).
Constant work in loud noise levels requiring hearing protection.
PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES:
Position-specific Skill Assessment within the ninety (90) day introductory period.
Safety, quality, production, and retention metrics by department and/or shift on an annual basis.
Individual completion of all assigned training on an annual basis.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
2 or more years in food processing, or related manufacturing field, is preferred.
Training/Other:
A Fully Qualified (FQ) rating of three (3) on each line of a position-specific Skill Assessment Card (SAC) within the ninety (90) day introductory period is required.
