New Accounts Representative

Golden Valley Bank is currently seeking a qualified and experienced New Accounts Representative in our Redding Office who has exceptional interpersonal skills. This position will also act as a Client Services Specialist, as workflow requires, and assist the Operations department with customer service needs. Run Branch Capture as requested, and other duties as assigned.

Reporting directly to the Client Services Manager, the New Accounts Representative possesses a very positive attitude and is courteous, friendly, and efficient. We expect applicants to promote a cheerful and professional image of the Bank while opening, closing, maintaining, and processing customer’s accounts and transactions in a confidential, timely and accurate manner.

Ideal candidate will have great communication skills, the ability to listen to customers and determine their needs. Competence to maintain a high degree of accuracy in their daily work and documentation and should have:

• Knowledge of banking services offered and ability to match those services to the customer’s needs, including checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, IRA and other services provided.
• A commitment to the vision, mission, and core values of Golden Valley Bank.
• Awareness that you can make a positive difference in the community with excellence in customer service.
• Proven success in communication both written and orally.
• Ability to maintain a high level of safety for the Bank and follow all security procedures.
• Desire to work closely with customers and colleagues.

• Competence to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
