Server/Busser

Goldy's Breakfast Bistro is a popular breakfast destination known for its delicious morning meals and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and a memorable dining experience. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Servers/Bussers.

As a Server/Busser at Goldy's, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a delightful dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining area. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and efficiency will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Server Duties:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
• Provide menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems.
• Relay orders to kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Serve food and drinks in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Process payments and provide accurate change or receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and restaurant promotions.

Busser Duties:

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
• Refill water, coffee, and other beverages as needed.
• Keep dining area, service stations, and restrooms clean and well-stocked.
• Remove used plates, glasses, and silverware from tables.
• Support kitchen staff by helping to bring out dishes and restock supplies.
• Ensure that tables are ready for the next guests by wiping down surfaces and setting up clean utensils.
• Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (if applicable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5.00 - $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
